Holidays are often “cheered” with an alcoholic drink.  Of course, people are going to imbibe as the socialize at holiday parties and dinners.  Extra calories are rampant this time of year and cocktails just add to that.

Don’t worry, there are lower calorie drinks that are fresh and delicious.  Alcohol can pack on the calories so pay attention to your intake!  Limit your drinks to 1 or 2 at the most and then choose a non caloric drink.  Adjust your food intake to allow for the extra calories by cutting back on portions. being mindful of appetizers and desserts.

¼ cup Cranberry Juice (no sugar added)

¾ cup sparkling mineral water (club soda)

Stevia to taste
